Grote Company, our parent company, has announced its acquisition of Precision Food Innovations (PFI), a manufacturer of vibratory and sanitary conveying equipment, effective August 13, 2021.
The addition brings together equipment manufacturers with decades of experience in their respective markets – Grote, Vanmark, Meyer Industries, and KOFAB (the previous companies of PFI before a 2018 rebranding) – further supporting our collective customers as they automate their food processing operations.
Specifically for Vanmark, PFI’s addition gives us the opportunity to offer more complete solutions from both of our companies to the potato and produce processing markets.
PFI’s operations and employee bases in Algona, Iowa and San Antonio, Texas will be unchanged as a result of the acquisition. Integration of the businesses will occur over the next several months.
